okey you've got 5 of these function key things up here that pretty much separate the parts of the site
they're pretty obvious
This is the landing page.
You've got this showcase that contains the most popular programs
Under that is some boring stuff and then below that is the "Popular places" list
See stuff that's been going on.
links at the top and bottom get you the older activity
Register for account is very ease.
First, do a boop on the USER button in the lower left
clicking "register" in cute little box. 'sokay, box likes it when you do that.
Fill out the fields specified on the next page. Make sure you use an email you can access and a password you can remember.
Never reuse passwords. Also it's silly but insane serious: never reveal your password to anyone. SmileBASIC Source staff members will never ask for your account password for any reason.
Also, we only use your email to send account-recovery related information. We do not sell your information.
After that, you'll be prompted to complete your registration with the code sent to your e-mail from your user page. Enter that and you're done, kiddo!
snail website also contains custom snail chat colon D
You can access the chat from the navigation menu or http://smilebasicsource.com/chat
NOTE: The chat must be accessed over HTTP, due to problems with secure websocket protocol and content security mixing.
The chat features a tabbed "room" system, where no one can hear you scream.
SmileBASIC: This tab is for SmileBASIC discussion. If chat is slow, you might have better luck asking questions in the forums.
Off-Topic: All unrelated discussion (or topical discussion, if you really want. You might still get yelled at, though). More lenient moderation, as long as you're not hurting anyone or being a disruption.
Staff: This room can only be posted to by admins and developers. They might be discussing a new site feature, or some admin-related action. Other users can view this, so the SmileBASIC Source staff teams aren't some secretive oligarchy, and will see any user input in the off-topic tab.
